1. Overview
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies do the same job in other ways: localStorage and sessionStorage keep data in the browser, and scripts and pixels can send information about a visit to a server. On this page “cookies” covers all of them.
This page covers two things: what nevisible.co, our own website, uses, and what the Nevisible script does on the websites of the manufacturers and distributors who use Nevisible. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy; for the GDPR, see GDPR and data protection.

Our fonts and images are served from nevisible.co itself, so loading a page doesn’t contact a font or image service.
4. The Nevisible script on customer websites
Customers add a small script, nevisible-ai.js, to their website so Nevisible can see where human visits come from. It is built so that it stores nothing on the visitor’s device:
- No cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. The script writes nothing to the browser.
- No device fingerprinting. No canvas, WebGL, audio, font or hardware signals are collected.
- Server-side matching. Repeat visits are recognized on our servers, and IP addresses are kept only as a salted hash after the company has been named.
- Company-level results. The script helps name the company behind a visit. It never names a person unless they identify themselves.
AI crawlers and AI agents don’t run scripts at all. Nevisible sees them on the server, at the edge of the customer’s ai. subdomain and through a read-only log feed from their host. If you visited a customer’s website and have a question about your data, contact that company first; we help it respond. Customers can find the details for their own cookie notice on our GDPR page.
5. Advertising
nevisible.co doesn’t use advertising pixels, retargeting or cross-site tracking today. If we add any, they will run only after you consent in the EEA, the UK and anywhere else that requires it, through a consent banner where you can say no as easily as yes, and we will list them on this page first.
6. Your choices
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site storage. Clearing site data for nevisible.co removes the nv-view preference.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sharing where the law requires it.
- Analytics. Our analytics set no cookies and can’t follow you to other sites. Content blockers that block analytics scripts will also stop it.
7. Changes and contact
We update this page whenever we add, change or remove a cookie, script or storage item, and change the “Last updated” date above.
